Challenge (Update)

I signed up for Sarah's Hands2Comfort Challenge 2020 at Confessions of a Fabric Addict here.  I have followed Sarah's blog for some time but this is the first time I am joining in on her Hands2Comfort Challenge.   There are sponsored charities for this event and you can find those at the link I provided.  Sarah also has fun and fast patterns that she creates for the challenge.

I joined in on the fun at GE Designs and created "Elvira" quilt.  So I will be donating my quilt to the Challenge.  Both are fun ways to connect with the quilting community and enjoy your passion of making quilts.

I've also been making face masks.  These are the masks I made for my family.

I'm making more for a local hospital.  I'll show those when I have another batch completed.  Love using my stash for these items.

Whirl Wind

What a whirl wind the past few weeks have been.  Everyone hunkering down, at home, to avoid the COVID-19 virus.  Very scary.

But as quilters we are prepared for staying at home!  We have our stashes of fabrics, threads, patterns and kits.  Oh the hopes and dreams of this time, without having to go any place.  (Looking  for the positive here.)

I finished a top, Night Sky Sampler 28.  I love the way it turned out.  Jean did such a wonderful job designing this quilt.

These 2 pictures were my inspiration:

Our next Sampler has been delayed, but I love the look of it also.

Hope you are well and stay safe.  Take care!

Update

I have an update to my Iowa quilt.

This quilt pattern is called "Hopping Across Iowa" and it was designed by Diana Beaubien at Pleasant Valley Creations.  I knew I had the pattern somewhere in my quilt room and I just found it!  I was hoping the pattern would have a date on it as it was created for the Shop Hop, but alas, it didn't.  I really wanted to know when I started this quilt.
