Almost

Almost caught up!  I finished the "Sewing Boxy Bag" for my December UFO as part of the "Dirty Dozen" UFO quilt along with Country Threads.

This little bag is by Lindsay Connor and here is the link to the free pattern.  It is part of Blueprint and I don't know if you need to belong as I got the pattern when this was Craftsy.  It is such a fun bag to make.

I bought backing for my last UFO that is behind and I hope to get that basted this weekend so I can quilt it.  And a new project will be drawn on February 1.  It's getting there.

Pressing Mat

I had a pressing mat kit that has been sitting in my kit box for some time.  Not sure why I never got going on it, but now it's done!  Woo hoo!

This was the November project for the "Dirty Dozen" UFO quilt along hosted by Country Threads. I'm getting caught up!

Cutting

I have been cutting, cutting, cutting fabric.  I finished cutting "Tulsa Town".  I cut blocks for another quilt, a stash buster.  Between "Tulsa Town" and the stash buster, I can shut the drawer on the 3.5 inch strips.  Yay!

And I'm cutting out a 3rd quilt, a free pattern from Bonnie Hunter's website.  Whew!

January "Dirty Dozen"

I have my January "Dirty Dozen"  finished!!  It went together so fast and I really wasn't working at it.
See?

It's another Quilted Boxy Pouch  by Lindsay Conner @ www.lindsaysews.com.  I think I have one more of these bags on my list because I had them sitting on my cutting table for so long.  I had to commit to getting them done!   What I really love about these boxy pouches is they take 2 fat quarters so it's fun to shop the stash to come up with the fabrics.

While working on the bag, I have been cutting fabrics for "Tulsa Town" by Villa Rosa Designs.

Since my Retirement, I have really been trying to create kits from patterns that I have with fabrics from my stash.  It's a fun challenge.  And so nice to head to a Retreat with a kit already for me to sit down and sew!

Diets

There are all kinds of diets out there!  Some for losing weight, some for controlling your stash and some for reducing or busting your stash.  So many choices

I've been enjoying the different sew along's that I have found, some "lets get organized" challenges.  The new year brings it out in us.

Have you joined any?  Or are you considering joining in on one?  Let me know what your plans are for 2020.

October UFO

I've been playing along with "The Dirty Dozen" with Mary over at Country Threads.  But I have gotten behind and am trying to catch up.

The October UFO was a Quilted Boxy Pouch by Lindsay Conner at Lindsay Sews.  Not sure if you are able to still get the pattern for the pouch because I got it when Blueprint was Craftsy.  But if you can't, you could maybe contact Lindsay.

This is the pouch:

Fun fat quarter I had hanging in my stash and I loved how it looks.  I did learn a bit about making the corners.  It's been a while since I've made something like this.  But so fun!
