Processing Scraps

Do you ever feel like all you do is process scraps?  Years ago I would just throw my scraps in a box and put it away.  So now days, I'm processing those scraps.  I can't believe how many I have, from all the projects I have made over the years.

I've been bagging up Irish Chain blocks from last years Scrap Buster quilt, you can find the pattern here.  I have all of the A Blocks completed and I am now working on the B Blocks. Since it's an easy pattern, I have been using it as a Leader/Ender.  It works perfect for that.  But since it's a Leader/Ender, it takes a little longer to complete.

I did finish up this Block Exchange we did in our Wednesday sewing group.

The Pattern is called "Plum Pudding" and is a free pattern from "American Patchwork & Quilting".  We used any batik in our stash and the only constant was using a black batik center block.  We made two blocks for each person in our group, so we had 36 blocks total.  A nice square quilt.  But I'm thinking of adding one more row, maybe.
