First Snow Fall

The first snow fall of the year.  Not much, but enough to make you know that winter is on it's way.

We still have tarps on the skylights, so I was really worried about how they would hold up under the weight of this damp snow.  They did OK.  Next Tuesday we should have the new ones in.  It's taken a lot longer to get  them then I wanted.  Originally we were told they would be in by the middle of October.  Hope they really do get put in next week.

So tonight I'm going to finish the pinning and then start the sewing!

We had our second snow fall of the year last night! We ended up with about 3 inches.

Oh, pretty. I love the snow. I don't like driving in it, or when it gets really cold! But I do love walking around in the snow, the crunching.. My Mom would not like this comment.. she hates snow :)Your string blocks and the other blocks look great!

I think I probably only live about 20 miles North of you and we had snow but no accumulation at all on the grass. We got rain and really welcomed it. Brrrr, I'm not looking forward to winter..
