I needed a change of pace. I didn't work on the quilt tonight. Instead I pulled a pre-printed top out of the closet of UFO's and worked on it. It is pre-printed with leaves and flowers and I have been doing some embroidery, filling in the stems and outlining the leaves. Relaxing.....

Oh...I would like to see what your doing to the printed fabric! My daughter just gave me a bunch of different fabrics of those pre-printed fabric books...for children. I thought instead of making the books, I might make them into small quilts. Your idea of embroidering something on them is a great idea!!! I bet my granddaughters ages 7,5,5,3,and 2 would love to help with that. Please post a picture of yours when you can!
